Itinerary

Day 1:
Bangalore – Chikkaballapur

Arrive at designated reporting place, report to coach and proceed to Chikkaballapur. On arrival we visit to Sri Bhoga Nandishwara Gudi – 9th – 10th Century beautifully carved temple dedicated to Lord Sihva. Sri Ranganatha Swamy Temple.

Day 2:
Chikkaballapur – Lepakshi – Anantapur

Morning we proceed to Lepakshi an UNSECO site famous for its archaeological importance and rich culture. Lepakshi is a popular tourist destination for those who want to imbibe the beauty from the historic past of our country. On arrival explore Veerbhadra Swamy Temple complex dedicated to Lord Shiva, a fierce incarnation of lord Shiva and considered one of the most spectacular Vijayanagara temples. See the murals, which have been made with natural pigments and they include a large painting of Virabhadra that is the largest of its kind in India. Visit the Kalyan Mandapa, the mysterious Hanging Pillar – located in the temple does not touch the ground and you can even pass bits of cloth or paper under the pillar to prove this, the 15 feet tall Nagalinga – which has 3 coils and 7 hoods and it is believed to have been carved from a single block of stone. Later also see footprint of Sita, Jatayau statue and take a photo stop at monolithic sculpture of Nandi – said to be the second largest structure in India. It is 20 feet in height and 30 feet in length. Overnight stay at Anantapur.

Day 3:
Anantapur – Tadipatri – Belum Cave – Proddatur

Today morning we proceed to Belum Caves. En-route we also visit Bugga Ramalingeswara Swamy Temple at Tadipatri – dedicated to Lord Shiva. Then we proceed to Belum Caves – is 3229 meters long, making it the second largest natural caves in Indian subcontinent. It also have long passages, spacious chambers, fresh water galleries and siphons. The caves reach its deepest point (120 ft from entrance level) at the point known as Patalganaga. Later in the evening proceed to Proddutur.

Day 4:
Proddatur – Gondikota – Chikkaballapur

Early morning proceed to Gondikota – called as a Indian Grand Canyon situated on Penna River. Gandikota – the capital of Pemmasani Nayakas for more than 300 years. Gandikota derives its name from two Telugu words Gandi meaning george and, ‘kota’ meaning fort. Spend some time to get beautiful views of the Canyon. Later explore Gondikota fort, Raghunatha Temple, Madhavaraya Swamy Temple, Store house of rice grains. Photo stop at View point of Gondikota Canyon and also take a view of Penna river. Then we proceed to Chikkaballapur,

Day 5:
Chikkaballapur – Departure from Bangalore

Morning we proceed to visit Isha yoga center, spiritual organization founded in 1992 near Coimbatore, it is also famous for the 112 feet ADIYOGI shiva staute. Take photos with Adiyogi. Soak in the peaceful atmosphere of the ashram. Then we proceed to board the flight for your hometown. Tour Concludes.
