Itinerary

Day 1:
DIMAPUR-KOHIMA

Arrive in Dimapur and proceed to Kohima – Capital city of Nagaland. Exhibiting the culture & heritage of Naga tribes

Day 2:
KOHIMA-HORN BILL FESTIVAL CELEBRATION

Today morning visit Naga Heritage complex at Kisama Village – a venue of Hornbill Festival, it offers panorama of nature and ethnic cultural heritage of Nagaland. War dance is popular dance form performed during this festival. Hornbill festival offers a great platform to the tribes where they display their unique art and crafts like painting, wood carvings, sculptures, hunting skills, ethnic foods, ingenious sports & games and many more. Some other attractions at festival also includes, Motor rally, Vintage car rally, literature fest, Music Concerts, Konyak fire eating shows, Naga chilly eating contests, Flower show etc. Spend entire day enjoying local tribal music, dances, food of indigenous Naga tribes

Day 3:
KOHIMA

Today explore the city of Kohima. Visit War Cemetery – set in the honor of those brave soldiers and officers who sacrificed their life during World War 2. Continue to Sale Emporium offering wide collection of Naga Handloom and handicraft items. Proceed to visit Cathedral Church of Kohima, The 16 feet high carved wood crucifix is one of Asia’s largest crosses. The architecture of Church incorporates many elements of traditional Naga houses. Day 4:
KOHIMA-KHONOMA-KOHIMA

Today proceed to visit Khonoma village also known as Green Village. The villagers practice terrace farming of Alder trees taking a step into Eco-tourism has given it well deserved title of “Green Village.” After visit to this beautiful village return to Kohima. Rest of the evening free for shopping.

Day 5:
DEPARTURE FROM DAIMAPUR

Proceed to Dimapur. Board the flight for your home town. Tour Concludes.
