Itinerary
Arrive in Amman. On arrival enjoy city tour includes Citadel, Archaeological Museum and Folklore Museum followed by a walk through bazaars. Later visit the Roman Amphitheater.
Travel to Petra via Madaba and Mt. Nebo. Some of the world’s finest Byzantine mosaics are found in Madaba, as it is the oldest known map of the Holy Land. Mt. Nebo, thought to be the burial site of Moses. Arrive in Petra in the evening.
Explore the legendary rose-red city of Petra – The New Wonder of The World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Petra is the legacy of the Nabataeans. Most of the 800 monuments in Petra are carved out of solid rock. See the spectacular Treasury and the 8000-seat amphitheater.
Visit the Wadi Rum Desert in a 4WD vehicle. Lawrence of Arabia spent some time on this awesome moonscape of sand and wind-sculpted stone. Visit Khazali Mount and Jabal Rum. Arrive in Amman in the evening.
Visit to Jerash, city tour includes the oval plaza area, colonnaded streets, Temple of Artemis and Zeus and a complex of churches. Visit the only Islamic Castle of Ajloun – considered one of the very few Islamic Castles built to protect the country against the Crusader attacks. Proceed to Nazareth. Cross the Boarder. En route enjoy boat tour on Spiritual sea of Galilee where Jesus walked on water. Continue to Nazaerth – the place where Jesus have grown up, studied & lived most of his life.
Visit Nazareth Village an Open Air Museum to experience life in the first century. Proceed to Haifa. Visit Bahai temple at Haifa. Continue to Caesarea National Park to see the magnificent remains of Herod’s city, the Roman capital and port and fortified Crusader town. Visit the Roman Theater and the renovated port area surrounded by 800-year-old walls. Later proceed to Jerusalem.
Visit Golgotha – a site immediately outside Jerusalem’s walls where Jesus was said to have been crucified. Later visit the Israel Museum, see Dead Sea Scrolls at the Shrine of the Book and see the Model of ancient Jerusalem followed by the short movie at the Shrine of the Book. Yad Vashem is Israel’s official memorial to the Jewish victims of the Holocaust established in 1953. Visit to Bethlehem and see Manger Square, the Church of the Nativity. Enjoy Time Elevator Show in the evening.
Visit Mt. Olives to view the Old City from top. Visit the Western Wall in the Old City to see the Dome of Rock. Later walk along the Via Dolorosa, into the Christian Quarter, and see the Stations of the Cross. Also enjoy a tour the City of David. Visit the Dead Sea, 378 mt deep, it is also one of the world’s saltiest bodies of water, it is 8.6 times more salty than the ocean. Proceed to Tel Aviv. En route visit Jaffa Market for shopping (If time Permits).
Enjoy city orientation tour of Tel Aviv including New Tzedek area, Jaffa Port – which is considered to be the world’s oldest sea-port. Board the flight to your home town. Tour Concludes.
